GETTING THE BEST OUT OF YOUR NEW CHATTAM & WELLS SLEEP SOLUTION

We build with meticulous precision and expert craftsmanship. We are committed to creating product with the highest quality raw materials, natural fibers and building techniques to provide comfort and support for a better night's rest.  However, even an exceptionally, handcrafted mattress won’t come out of the box perfectly conformed to your body. As with any finely made product, your new Chattam & Wells will take time to settle in. We recommend at least 30-45 days to break-in your brand new mattress.

We’ve put together our 4 best tips to make sure you’re giving the process the best shot, because there is nothing more comfortable than a mattress that has perfectly molded to the shape of your body:

LET IT BREATHE

It’s a long journey from the warehouse to your front door. We recommend getting your mattress positioned where you want it, and giving it a few hours to settle before making it up and jumping in.

SLEEP ON IT

Your new mattress will arrive to your home firm and won’t conform to your body if you’re not sleeping on it. We recommend taking the time and settling in, give your mattress at least a full 30 - 45 nights of sleep to adjust and feel the way it was designed to.

CHANGE IT UP

We all have our favorite sleeping position and side of the mattress. However, if you only sleep in that one spot, your mattress will not fully break in. We recommend rotating where you sleep every two days to distribute your body weight evenly over the entire mattress.

ROTATING SCHEDULE

In order to keep your bed free of harmful body impressions, you should rotate the bed every week for the first month and every 3 months thereafter. We recommend maintaining a regular rotation schedule.

Our commitment to ensuring every product is visually inspired and uncompromising down to the last detail makes us the sleep solution for those seeking the best in class without compromise.

When it comes to a brand new mattress, you’re getting to know it and it is getting to know you. Treat it well during the breaking in process, and you will love it for years to come.
